14 Days Kenya Tanzania and Zanzibar Safari Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi

Arrive in Nairobi where you are met and transferred to your hotel -Sarova Panafric Hotel-
where you are booked on BB

Day 2: Nairobi- Ol Pejeta Conservancy

After breakfast proceed to Ole Pejeta Wildlife Sanctuary. It’s known for its heroic efforts at saving endangered and threatened wildlife. The rhino sanctuary here hosts 100 black rhinos, the largest protected population in East Africa. Also, of note, the last two northern white rhinos left in the world live in this protected enclave. The park also hosts the Sweet waters Chimpanzee Sanctuary – home to orphaned and abandoned chimps that are rescued and nursed back to health. When they’ve been rehabilitated, the chimps are introduced to large natural enclosures where they can live and play freely.

Day 3: Ol-Pejeta – Lake Naivasha (Thomson falls)

After breakfast drive to Lake Naivasha with a stop at Thomson falls. Arrive for lunch. After lunch, sail across the lake looking for hippos, pelicans, kingfishers and more. Let’s glide by dozing hippos as they awake to see us passing by and we’ll take in the active birdlife hovering about.
Now that everyone is awake, we’ll enjoy a short, guided walking safari to Crescent Island Game Sanctuary. This little park is filled with yet more grazing game so check out the wildebeest, waterbuck, and gazelle strolling about. Nearby Crescent Island Game Sanctuary gives us an opportunity to stretch our legs on a guided walking safari viewing small game. And, an optional bicycle ride to Hell’s Gate National Park will bring us up close to grazing antelope, buffalo, zebra, and giraffe.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha- Masai Mara

After breakfast depart for Masai Mara, one of East Africa’s most famous reserves, Masai Mara consists of undulating hills and great rolling grasslands that sustain some of the most varied wildlife in Africa, if not the world. Arrive in time for lunch.
Afternoon game viewing in Masai Mara, where lion, elephant, cheetah, giraffe, buffalo, wildebeest, gazelle and other plains game abound, not forgetting the hundreds of species of birds. Dinner and overnight at Pride Inn or Sopa Lodge

Day 5: Masai Mara

Full day dedicated to game spotting in Masai Mara Reserve. You can watch a lion, cheetah or leopard hunting or feasting on its kill. Option of a visit to a Masai village or a hot-air balloon ride that starts at 06.00 am and ends with a Champagne breakfast on the plains. What an exhilarating experience! All meals and overnight at the -Pride Inn or Sopa Lodge

Day 6: Masai Mara -Isebania – Serengeti

Early morning breakfast, check out and drive to Isebania Border. Start the drive exactly at 6:00AM. Proceed to the border -exchange vehicles and proceed to Serengeti. Arrive for evening safari game drive.
Dinner and overnight at -Sound of Nature Tented Camp or Sound of Slience Tented Camp

Day 7: Serengeti 

Full day Safari at Serengeti – All meals and overnight at – Sound of Nature Tented Camp or Sound of Silence Tented Camp.

Day 8: Serengeti – Ngorongoro

After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro with an optional to visit – Olduvai Gorge. Packed lunches on the way.

Day 9: Ngorongoro – Arusha

Early morning visits the crater, with picnic lunches. Evening drive to Arusha –for dinner and overnight at –Arusha Kibo Palace Hotel

Day 10: Arusha – Namanga-Amboseli

After breakfast, drive to Namanga Border -exchange vehicles and proceed to Amboseli. Arrive for lunch. After lunch enjoy safari game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight at -OL-Tukai Lodge or Sopa Lodge

Early morning safari game drive in Amboseli after which return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast check out with packed lunches -enjoy safari game drives in the park till noon. After which proceed to Nairobi and transferred to the airport. Fly to Zanzibar -arrive in Zanzibar where you are met and transferred to your beach hotel – EMERALD ZANZIBAR RESORT & SPA where you are booked on A/I (All- inclusive basis)
