16 Days Kenya and Uganda Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival

Arrive in Entebbe, Uganda where you are met and transferred to your hotel –Hotel Africana Hotel where you are booked on B & B.

Day 2: Kampala

Full day spend in Kampala and visit your relatives. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Africana.

Day 3: Kampala – Fort Portal

After breakfast drive to Fort Portal arrive and free to visit your relatives. Dinner and overnight at Fort Motel.

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park. En route, you will stop by the Uganda Equator to take pictures. After lunch at the Lake view Hotel in Mbarara, head for the East African Rift valley arriving in Queen Elizabeth National Park for an evening safari game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park

After an early morning cup of tea at 6:30am, depart for a safari game drive on the northerly parts of the park along the Kasenyi track. This is the best time for opportunities of viewing the cats in action –including Tree Climbing of IShasha. Later, return for breakfast. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on the Kazinga for solitary Buffalo, Hippo and other animals at the edge of the channel as they cool off. European migrant birds like the terns and gulls congregate here in large flocks. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge.

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth-Kampala-Nairobi

After breakfast drive for 6 hours to Entebbe, and catch a flight to Nairobi. You will be met and transferred to –Hilton Garden Hotel- for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru

Breakfast and depart for Lake Nakuru national park, famous for its millions of seasonal pink flamingos and other aquatic birds. Lunch en route. Arrive for dinner and overnight at –Waterbuck Hotel- Evening safari game drive the park.

Day 8: Lake Nakuru –Masai Mara

After breakfast depart for Masai Mara  one of East Africa’s most famous reserves, The Mara consists of undulating hills and great rolling grasslands that sustain some of the most varied wildlife in Africa, if not the world. Arrive in time for lunch at – Afternoon game viewing, where lion, elephant, cheetah, giraffe, buffalo, wildebeest, gazelle and other plains game abound, not forgetting the hundreds of species of birds. Dinner and overnight in-Azure Haven Mara Camp,

Day 9: Masai Mara

2-days dedicated to game spotting in this sprawling reserve. You can watch a lion, cheetah or leopard hunting or feasting on its kill. Option of a visit to a Masai village or a hot-air balloon ride that starts at 06.00 am and ends with a Champagne breakfast on the plains. What an exhilarating experience! All meals and overnight at the –Azure Haven Mara Camp.

Day 10: Masai Mara – Lake Naivasha

After breakfast we head for one of the Great Rift Valley fresh-water lakes, Naivasha, arriving- for lunch. Option of a boat ride or bird watching with the resident ornithologist or visit of Cresent Island for trekking-you pay directly to boat owners and Island owner. Dinner and overnight at the –Masada Hotel.

Day 11: Lake Naivasha – Amboseli

Breakfast and route for Amboseli national park –Arrive for  lunch in  Amboseli. Afternoon safari game drive in the park.  Dinner and overnight at –
Amboseli Kibo Tented Camp.

Day 12: Amboseli

Full day is spent game tracking in this magnificent park, right on the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest in Africa. Early morning there’s a chance of spotting its snows. All meals and overnight at your lodge. Game here includes Cape buffalo, hippo, gazelle, hartebeest, zebra, wildebeest, lion, cheetah, herds of elephant and plenty of other plains game. All meals and overnight at–Amboseli Kibo Tented Camp.

Day 13: Amboseli –Taita Hills

After breakfast –drive to Taita Hills –arrive for lunch at –Taita Hills Salt Lick. Afternoon safari game drive in the park Dinner and overnight at – Taita Hills Salt Lick

Day 14: Taita Hills – Mombasa

After breakfast drive to Mombasa, arrive at Mombasa Serena Beach Hotel where you’re booked on –HB-Basis.

Day 15: Mombasa

You have full day to relax at the beach and enjoy the hotel facilities. Optional excursions will be proposed by our representative. These will include Mombasa city tour, Dhow trip, and visit to historic Malindi, visit villages to observe and learn some of the locals’ lifestyle, culture and traditions.
-Dinner and overnight at –Mombasa Serena Beach Hotel.

Day 16: Mombasa – Nairobi

Depending on your international flight schedule from Nairobi, you’ll be transferred to Mombasa airport for your domestic flight to connect on your home-bound flight in Nairobi.
