7 Days Uganda Gorilla Tour Itinerary

Day1: Arrival and Overnight in Entebbe

Arrival at Entebbe International Airport where you will meet your Safari Driver Guide for a warm welcome and transfer you to your Entebbe Hotel.
Overnight at Laico Lake Victoria.

Day2: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Early breakfast and have an entire day drive to Bwindi National Impenetrable. You will have a scenic drive past the Equator where you can have a break for your lunch. Proceed on past Mbarara and branch off to Kanungu route to the eastern part of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in good time for dinner.
Overnight stay at – Gorilla Safari Lodge

Day3: Gorilla Tracking

After an early breakfast, be transferred to Bwindi National Park Head Quarters for the start of your gorilla tracking experience. After an early breakfast you’ll be transferred to the park HQs for Gorilla tracking briefing with added info on the gorilla family allocated to you to track. After which set off into the forest in the footsteps of the Mountain Gorillas. You will be led by experienced gorilla trackers on the slopes of the volcanoes. Start from the site where the gorillas were encountered the day before and from here the gorilla tracking begins. Thereafter return to your lodge for dinner.

Day4: Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park with game viewing drive through southern Ishasha sector. Picnic lunch and then drive to the northern part of the park and check in for dinner.

Day5: Safari Game drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Early morning safari game drive in Queens Elizabeth National Park and back to the lodge for lunch. Then set out for an exciting Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel where you will encounter numbers of hippos and huge elephants at the banks of the channel, not to mention several species of birds and panoramic views into Lake Edward! Return for dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day6: Chimpanzee Trekking and Drive back to Kampala

After breakfast check out of the lodge. Visit Kyambura Gorge for Chimpanzee and other Monkey primates in the Gorge. Thereafter start off your drive back to Kampala with a picnic lunch en-route. In the evening check in for dinner.
Overnight stay – Sheraton Hotel

Day7: Depart

Breakfast at the lodge and thereafter be transferred back to Entebbe Airport for your flight back home.
